NM3239-StudentShowcase-17Nov2017
As an academic department in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, CNM has always committed itself to the goal of delivering modules that are not only deeply anchored to theory, but also demonstrate an abiding sensitivity to the needs of industry. Enriching relationships with businesses and government agencies have made CNM's teaching and research stay relevant, helping to develop students who are confident, knowledgeable, and future-ready.
The showcase of student projects from Module 3239: Retrieving, Extracting and Analysing Data (R.E.A.D) are a fine example of how we share knowledge with communities beyond the department and faculty, inviting professionals from management, corporate services, student affairs, healthcare, science and public policy to be part of the student project presentations. Within such platforms, we help foster a two-way exchange of ideas that not only empowers the participants, but also ground our students to the urgent priorities of future careers.
